CCI is dedicated to expanding access to information and communications

technologies (ICT) to underserved communities around the world. 

Areas of Expertise

CCI's staff draws on a broad range of expertise to provide training and

technical assistance to communities,  ICT-based enterprises, 

policy makers and regulators.  Core capabilities include:

• ICT policy and regulatory reform
  

• Community mobilization
  

• Network planning, design, and engineering
  

• Negotiating interconnection and other pricing agreements
  

• Creating and developing community-based and locally owned and operated ICT enterprises
  

• Delivering comprehensive technical assistance such as business, marketing and financial planning; and operational and engineering support
  

• Forming public-private alliances to achieve sustainable service delivery by community-based ICT enterprises and other providers;
